25-Seven Systems is demonstrating Audio Time Manager, both the standard analog/digital version and the new Axia Livewire IP-Audio version. It says the time compressor-time shifter allows stations to pause a network feed, insert content, then return where the program left off and seamlessly catch up to real time.
Time compression rates can be adjusted on the fly, or the unit can be used to time-shift programs by up to an hour. Advanced algorithms leave speech and music sounding natural, according to 25-Seven.
The front panel offers easy, two-button operation. Remote control is available through an 8 x 8 GPIO, RS-232 or over a LAN or WAN using a built-in Web server.
